SOPSAR supports campaign for the acquisition of weather radar

The SOPSAR is developing a campaign to raise funds to purchase a weather radar of control and warning, which aims to prevent environmental accidents natural, based on the disaster that struck the archipelago of Madeira.
This campaign for the acquisition of this instrument, which predicts storms and their intensity, has the support of the Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics and its President, Adérito Serrão.
